Summit Views LLC is a woman-owned California company founded in April 2001 by partners Jennifer Young and Gregg Weissman, to innovate renewable resource products and solutions. With a combined 50 years of experience with Fortune 500 companies and start-ups, we made a life/work decision then to use our acquired skills to do our part in supporting a better world through sustainable products and practices.

The cornerstone of our business today is the development and marketing of goodwood® firelogs -- an easy-lighting, cleaner-burning, all-wood fireplace product that is better for the environment than firewood, without the greenhouse gas emissions of petroleum wax-based logs. Goodwood® firelogs were developed to fill the need for a product that helps reduce woodsmoke emissions, solves a woodwaste disposal problem, is easy to use yet appealing to the most discriminating customers. For the warmer seasons and outdoor grilling, we have developed its line extension, goodwood mesquite charcoal, an easy-lighting, environmentally-preferable alternative to charcoal briquettes.

Goodwood® products are designed to be easy to use and better for the environment than products currently available. They are available in the Western U.S. and the Northeast through natural food, grocery, camping and hospitality facilities, as well as through our online store.
