Due to their density and low moisture content, Goodwood® Firelogs burn with up to 50% fewer emissions than firewood. They are also safer to use, as they produce less spark and ash than firewood, reducing the risks associated with fireplaces and campfires. Our "densified" all-wood firelogs are bound together only by the natural lignin in wood, without the use of petroleum-based binders or chemicals. Preferred by air quality and environmental agencies worldwide, densified biomass fuels such as wood pellets or Goodwood® Firelogs burn cleaner, with fewer particulates, and are considered carbon-neutral, unlike fossil-fuel-based products that contribute to global warming when burned*.

Help reduce waste

Goodwood® Firelogs are made from clean woody biomass diverted from landfills. Our easy-light bag is made with 100% renewable, sustainable resource materials - a tree-free jute fiber bag with all-wood kindling and firelogs. For the cleanest-burning all-wood fire, just light the bag and add all-wood firelogs as desired. Please re-use or recycle any boxes used for packaging.

Help protect our forests

American forests face a serious health threat: millions of acres of forest land are choked with unnaturally dense stands of trees and other vegetation, leaving them highly susceptible to drought, disease and catastrophic wildfires. Ongoing forest clean-up operations are being undertaken to protect our old-growth forests, wildlife and adjacent communities. Goodwood® Firelogs are made with wood residue from these trimming operations, helping to solve a surplus biomass disposal problem and offset the costs of forest stewardship at the same time.
